Ward Union Hunt Point to Point 2017 By Photograph…
Great excitement around the final race of the Ward Union Hunt Point to Point held at the Folly on Sunday 5/2/2017, where a number of the braver members and subscribers donned their racing colours and became jockeys to tackle a 1 lap race over the Point to Point fences on their non-thoroughbred horses.
All riders had to carry 12 stone (or over!!!) and had attended a schooling morning to assess if the horse and rider were capable.
Paul Carberry was on hand and acted as the official pace maker for the first part of the race.
Well done to all who took part in a great fun fundraiser.
